Coming Soon — Requires Critical Mass of Crew

CRI+

Crew Rating Index Plus

The industry rates crew.
It's time crew rated the industry.

CRI+ is a transparent, merit-based rating system built for crew, by crew. It recognises the best professionals in yachting — and gives crew the power to rate everyone they work with: owners, brokers, managers, contractors, clients, and more.

This is a vision for where Xplor is heading. CRI+ can only launch when we have enough verified crew on the platform to make the data meaningful and the ratings trustworthy. The more crew who join, the closer we get.

Crew Rate Everyone

In yachting, crew have always been rated — by owners, by managers, by brokers. CRI+ flips that. Verified crew become the raters, and everyone in the industry earns a public reputation based on how they treat the people who do the work.

Only Verified Crew Can Rate

No anonymous reviews. No fake accounts. Only crew with a verified CRI+ profile can submit ratings — and their reviews are weighted by their own CRI+ tier. A Master-rated captain's review carries more weight than a new deckhand's. This prevents gaming and ensures the ratings reflect genuine industry experience.

Why This Matters

Right now, crew have no structured way to share their experiences working for an owner, a management company, or a broker. Bad actors stay hidden. Good ones get no public recognition.

CRI+ changes that. When crew can rate everyone they work with — and those ratings are public, verified, and weighted by experience — it creates accountability that doesn't exist anywhere else in the industry.

Owners who treat crew well get rewarded with top talent. Managers who cut corners get exposed. The industry improves because transparency forces it to.

Today

Crew are rated and reviewed by everyone above them. They have no public voice, no structured feedback channel, and no way to warn other crew about bad experiences.

With CRI+

Crew rate owners, brokers, managers, contractors, clients, and training providers. Public, verified, weighted by experience. The power shifts to the people doing the work.

How Crew Scoring Will Work

CRI+ also rates crew themselves — objectively, transparently, and based on merit. Everyone starts at 50 and earns their way up through verifiable achievements.

Longevity matters: Tenure on a vessel adjusts your effective rating for commission distribution. The longer you're onboard before a charter, the higher your share — rewarding loyalty over job-hopping.

What Changes

For Crew

Recognised as professionals, not replaceable labour. Your experience, loyalty, and skill are publicly tracked and rewarded. And for the first time, you have a structured, verified way to share your experiences working for anyone in the industry.

For Owners

Good owners attract the best crew because their rating proves it. CRI+ becomes a competitive advantage — treat crew well and the industry knows.

For Managers & Brokers

Transparent reputation means accountability. High ratings attract clients and crew. Low ratings become impossible to hide behind a polished website.

For the Industry

Yachting transitions to a merit-based trust economy — measurable, public, and fair. Exploitation gets harder. Standards rise. Everyone benefits.
