Help & FAQs
Quick answers about Xplor — simple, clear, and to the point.
How FairSeas Works
FairSeas is a commission-sharing system built into Xplor, a yacht charter marketplace.
When a yacht gets booked for a charter, the crew on that yacht share a portion of the booking fee. And the person who referred that crew member to FairSeas also earns — but from Xplor's side, not from the crew's pocket.
A yacht gets chartered → Xplor collects the industry commission → 50% is shared between the crew → Fleet Builder gets paid from Xplor's remaining 50%
Who Makes Money?
1. The Crew (Captain + Team)
The crew join FairSeas and list their yacht on Xplor. When someone books that yacht, FairSeas gives 50% of the full charter commission to the crew.
That 50% is split between all crew members on that yacht — not just the captain.
Example: €100,000 charter → ~€17,000 commission → €8,500 shared between all crew
2. The Fleet Builder (Ambassador)
This is someone who refers crew to FairSeas. They share a personal referral link.
When a referred crew member's yacht gets chartered, the Fleet Builder earns a commission from Xplor's share — not from the crew's share. The crew gets their full 50% regardless.
This lasts for 24 months from the first charter on that yacht.
3. Xplor (The Platform)
Keeps the remaining portion after paying crew and Fleet Builders. Fleet Builder commissions come out of Xplor's cut, so the crew are never affected.
