A 21.07m SUNSEEKER Motor Yacht
About this yacht
Sunseeker's 2012 flagship features an innovative triple-height atrium that floods the main salon with natural light through a sculptural skylight system. This dramatic vertical space creates an unexpectedly airy interior aboard the 21-meter motor yacht, where traditional yacht design typically favors horizontal expansion over upward openness. The atrium serves as the yacht's social nucleus, with curved staircases spiraling around its perimeter to connect the three levels. Glass panels wrap the upper portion of this central void, allowing guests on the bridge deck to peer down into the main salon while maintaining visual connection across all living spaces. During evening hours, integrated LED strips trace the atrium's edges, transforming the architectural feature into a luminous centerpiece that draws the eye upward. 2DRUNK's layout radiates outward from this central light well, with the main salon's seating arrangements positioned to take advantage of the natural illumination. The dining area occupies the forward section of this level, while the aft portion opens through sliding glass panels to the cockpit terrace. Guest accommodations are housed below, where portholes and deck hatches supplement the overhead lighting that filters down from the atrium above. The flybridge crowns this vertical composition, accessible via the spiraling staircases that frame the atrium. Here, the helm station and outdoor entertaining areas benefit from panoramic views, while the architectural drama below remains visible through the glass floor panels that cap the light well. This design approach transforms what could have been a conventional motor yacht interior into a multi-level environment where natural light becomes the primary design element.
