Accommodation Details
The Maj Oceanic is a 47m, full-custom Indonesian Phinisi yacht, launched in 2020. The Maj Oceanic has been handcrafted to embody traditional Indonesian style, with a contemporary twist.
Venture off-the-beaten-track and be inspired by the sense of adventure and exploration that The Maj Oceanic offers.
The full-beam master suite is an impressive 120sq.m and delivers 270-degree views. It also boasts a full en suite bath and a private balcony to aft. Another smaller sized master cabin of 35sq.m is located aft of the main deck. The remaining guest cabins are located on the lower deck and comprise 4 double cabins. Fit-out to premium resort standards, each benefits from its own lounge area and en suite with jet shower. There is an additional smaller twin cabin forward lower deck for kid's use only (available at an additional cost).
Guest spaces include the impressive Gajah Mada lounge and dining room on the main deck, which features beautiful copper bas-reliefs depicting historic maritime scenes. There is a spacious sun deck with 360-degree views, and an alfresco dining area for lazy lunches and late-night dinners. The interior décor is typically Indonesian and complemented by touches of modern luxury and design.
With charter itineraries that will bring you up close to the world’s largest lizards, face-to-face with endangered marine life, or simply help distract your mind from the pace of modern life, The Maj Oceanic will deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The Maj Oceanic is equipped with a great selection of water toys, including stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, fishing tackle, snorkelling sets, and full scuba diving equipment. When not exploring the crystal-clear waters, the team are on-hand to arrange beach picnics or mountain treks.
For a more unusual way to pass an afternoon, take to the ship’s top deck with the golf clubs and biodegradable golf balls!
The crew aboard The Maj Oceanic have extensive experience cruising in this region, and aboard a Phinisi yacht is the best way to experience the beauty of the Indonesian archipelago. The iconic design of these yachts remains authentic, and Phinisi boat building is recognised by UNESCO as a masterpiece of oral and tangible heritage of humanity.
