Please note that all locations are flexible and dependant on charters, the owners are commercial and open to all enquiries. November 2025 – June 2026: Norway (open to Iceland and Greenland, relocation would apply) July – August 2026: Mediterranean (operates under the YET scheme so charterers must be a non-EU resident or company. Charters can only start in France/Monaco and Greece) October 2026 – May 2027: Location Flexible - dependant on charters VAT for charters starting and finishing in Norway is 12% VAT in Greenland 0% and Iceland is 11% About Norway The boat will be in Northern Norway during the winter and will likely then be in the south for Spring – but of course this will depend on charters. Northern Norway is a breathtaking Arctic playground of towering fjords, midnight sun, and the elusive Northern Lights. Between late November and mid-January, the sun doesn’t rise at all. Instead of pitch-black days, the sky often glows in deep blues and purples, with a few hours of twilight-like light around midday. This creates dramatic, otherworldly landscapes — and the long darkness makes it one of the best places in the world to experience the Northern Lights. Southern Norway is a blend of sunlit coastlines, charming harbours, and rolling landscapes perfect for summer cruising. Think idyllic fishing villages, rolling hills, wildflowers and scenic hikes. What Clients Can Expect: Itineraries Please contact sophiewood@ahoyclub.com for a sample itinerary for each region here: North Norway & South Norway We would advise engaging an expedition partner as Norway is a very unique charter destination. An expedition partner in Norway ensures safe operations, regulatory compliance, and world-class bespoke experiences, while unlocking access to the most remote and extraordinary parts of the Norwegian coastline. They will typically work with you and the client to plan and book the full itinerary. In addition to this, they will provide a guide who will lead the charter activities and stay onboard with the crew – think of them as an extension of the crew who is there to ensure the daily experience is as seamless as possible. The client covers the cost for this with their APA. In Norway, all yachts above 70m must carry a pilot on board. This would be arranged by the Captain or Expedition partner and charged to the APA.
