A 30.45m Princess Motor Yacht
About this yacht
Princess and Bernard Olesinski shaped AFON's 2020 design around the rhythms of shared living, creating spaces that naturally draw guests together while preserving moments for quiet retreat. The 30-meter motor yacht's social architecture unfolds across carefully proportioned decks, where conversation flows as easily between the main salon and aft cockpit as it does from the upper deck lounge to the foredeck seating areas. Life aboard centers on the main deck's open-plan arrangement, where the salon's comfortable seating faces both inward toward fellow guests and outward through expansive windows that frame the passing seascape. The adjacent dining area accommodates the full complement of ten guests, while the galley's positioning allows the five crew members to serve without interrupting the natural flow of gatherings. Upper deck living revolves around a generous lounge that serves equally well for morning coffee as it does for evening aperitifs, with flexible seating that adapts to groups of varying sizes throughout the day. The helm station integrates into this social space without dominating it, maintaining the deck's welcoming atmosphere while underway. AFON's 6.92-meter beam provides the foundation for this thoughtful layout, allowing Princess's design team to create genuine width in the social areas rather than simply adding length. The 190-gross-ton vessel moves through the water at a measured pace that encourages guests to settle into yacht life's particular tempo, where the journey becomes as meaningful as any destination. Olesinski's naval architecture supports this emphasis on livability, creating a platform stable enough for relaxed entertaining while maintaining the performance capabilities expected of a modern motor yacht. The result feels less like a floating hotel than a carefully considered home at sea, where ten guests and five crew can share several days together with genuine comfort rather than mere accommodation.
