About this yacht
Horizon Yachts' comprehensive design approach shapes every aspect of AURA, with the Taiwanese builder handling both naval architecture and interior design for this 27.44-meter motor yacht delivered in May 2023. This unified creative vision manifests in purposeful choices throughout the vessel, from her spacious 7.19-meter beam that creates exceptional interior volume to the thoughtful placement of guest accommodations across two decks. The design team's attention to outdoor living becomes immediately apparent on the flybridge, where a four-person jacuzzi anchors an entertainment zone that includes wet bar facilities and extensive sunpad areas for ten guests. Below, the main deck features a full-beam master cabin positioned forward, complete with king-size accommodations and an ensuite designed with separate shower facilities and dual vanities. Four additional queen cabins on the lower deck complete the five-cabin layout, each reflecting Horizon's considered approach to guest comfort. AURA's naval architecture supports both leisurely cruising at 11 knots and an extensive collection of water toys that includes Seabob units, four Jobe sea scooters, and dual stand-up paddleboards alongside a Sea-Doo Spark watercraft. The aft deck houses a Boston Whaler 170 Dauntless tender with six-guest capacity, while an inflatable swimming platform and beach garage extend the yacht's connection to the water. Operating from Airlie Beach in Queensland, AURA brings Horizon's design expertise to cruising grounds spanning Australia, New Zealand, and the Western Mediterranean. Her GRP construction and thoughtfully planned spaces reflect a builder's understanding of how modern yacht owners engage with their vessels, creating environments that flow seamlessly between interior luxury and outdoor adventure.
