SES Yachts' internal design team achieved something remarkable with IGUAZU in 2024: they engineered a 25.9-meter motor yacht where the traditional cabin configuration gives way to an entirely reimagined living concept. Rather than dividing the interior into separate staterooms, the design flows as continuous social spaces that transform according to guest needs throughout the day and evening. This architectural decision creates an unusual sense of spaciousness aboard a yacht of this scale. Without fixed cabin walls constraining the layout, the interior adapts fluidly between dining, lounging, and entertainment configurations. Guests move through interconnected areas that feel more like a contemporary residence than a conventional yacht interior. The 6.45-meter beam provides the foundation for this open-plan approach, allowing the design team to prioritize communal gathering spaces over traditional privacy divisions. Three crew members manage all operations aboard IGUAZU, handling everything from navigation to guest services with the efficiency that comes from working within a purpose-built layout. The yacht accommodates eight guests within this flexible living environment, where the absence of formal cabin boundaries becomes the defining characteristic of the onboard experience. SES Yachts handled every aspect of IGUAZU's creation, from naval architecture through exterior styling to the revolutionary interior concept. This unified approach across all design disciplines resulted in a yacht that challenges conventional assumptions about how guests want to live on the water. The 110-gross-ton vessel represents a bold departure from standard motor yacht layouts, proving that innovation in yacht design often comes from questioning the most basic assumptions about onboard living.
