L'ALBATROS

Jon Bannenberg's exterior design for this 1986 Nishii Zosen creation establishes L'ALBATROS as a study in purposeful proportions, where the 43-meter length and nearly 8-meter beam create expansive social territories that flow naturally from one to the next. The main deck becomes the yacht's social heart, with spaces that encourage both intimate conversations and larger gatherings, while the thoughtful arrangement allows groups to form and reform organically throughout the day. Life aboard revolves around this carefully orchestrated flow between interior and exterior spaces, enhanced by Susan Puleo's interior work that complements the yacht's social DNA. Eight crew members ensure that service remains unobtrusive while accommodating up to twelve guests across the yacht's various living spaces. Tom Fexas's naval architecture provides the stable platform that makes extended cruising comfortable, creating the foundation for the kind of unhurried luxury where time expands and the rhythm of life afloat becomes its own reward.
