Stefano Tini's interior aboard MARIPOSA transforms the traditional yacht saloon through an innovative open-plan concept that dissolves the boundaries between social spaces. Rather than compartmentalizing the main deck into separate dining and lounging areas, his design creates one fluid environment where conversations flow as naturally as guests move between the elongated seating and custom dining table. Natural light streams through oversized windows, illuminating the warm wood finishes and neutral palette that make the 28.65-meter space feel both intimate and expansive. The genius of this layout becomes apparent during evening gatherings, when the entire main deck functions as a single entertainment venue. Guests drift effortlessly from cocktails at the bar to dinner without the jarring transitions typical of more compartmentalized yachts. The careful placement of furniture creates natural conversation zones while maintaining clear sight lines throughout, ensuring no one feels isolated from the group's energy. Permare's 2018 design philosophy extends this sense of openness to the exterior spaces, where the aft deck connects visually and physically to the interior through wide sliding doors. With accommodations for eight guests and a professional crew of three, MARIPOSA strikes an ideal balance between social gathering space and personal retreat.
