About this yacht
Angelo Arnaboldi's hull design for this 2009 AB Yachts creation prioritizes the kind of open-plan living that transforms how ten guests move through their days together. MUSA's 35-meter length unfolds as a series of connected social zones where morning coffee naturally becomes afternoon aperitifs, and evening conversations flow from interior lounges to exterior decks without the usual yacht barriers that fragment groups. Guido De Groot's interior architecture eliminates the formal dining room in favor of flexible gathering spaces that adapt to the moment. Guests find themselves gravitating toward different areas as the day progresses—perhaps starting with breakfast around the main salon's casual seating, then shifting to alfresco lunch setups where the 7.2-meter beam provides generous space for everyone to spread out comfortably. The design creates what residents describe as a house-on-water feeling rather than the compartmentalized experience of traditional yacht layouts. Living aboard MUSA means never feeling confined by rigid meal times or prescribed entertainment schedules. The interconnected spaces encourage organic socializing—someone reading in the morning sun can easily join a conversation happening nearby, while those seeking quieter moments can find intimate seating areas without leaving the main social flow entirely. It's this thoughtful choreography of public and semi-private spaces that makes extended cruising with friends or family feel natural rather than forced. Four crew members maintain the relaxed atmosphere behind the scenes, handling the operational details that keep life aboard running smoothly while guests focus on enjoying each other's company. The yacht's proportions and layout create the rare balance of feeling spacious enough for solitude yet intimate enough that the group stays connected throughout their time together.
