Codecasa's 2019 design centers on a distinctive stepped superstructure that creates natural terracing across REGINA D'ITALIA's 65-meter profile. Rather than conventional stacked decks, each level steps back progressively, forming outdoor galleries that wrap around the yacht's 11.2-meter beam and offer unobstructed sightlines from every angle. This architectural cascade transforms the typical motor yacht silhouette into something more sculptural. Forward sections flow seamlessly into recessed lounging areas, while the uppermost tier provides an elevated helm position that feels integrated rather than perched. The stepped geometry also channels airflow naturally through each level, creating cross-breezes that eliminate the enclosed feeling common on yachts of this scale. Naval architects at Codecasa engineered the superstructure to maintain perfect balance despite the unconventional massing. The result is a yacht that moves through water with surprising grace for its 1,215-ton displacement, while the stepped design creates private pockets throughout the exterior spaces. Guests never feel crowded across the accommodation for 14, as each terrace level offers its own distinct character and purpose. A crew of 16 operates the yacht's systems from discrete service areas cleverly integrated beneath each step.
