Luca Dini's interior aboard SHORT STORY transforms traditional yacht hierarchy through an unconventional approach to vertical circulation, where the main staircase becomes a sculptural centerpiece rather than a functional afterthought. The Italian designer crafted each step and landing as gallery space, with integrated lighting and carefully proportioned openings that frame views between decks, creating unexpected visual connections throughout the 37-meter Horizon's interior volume. Espinosa Yacht Design's exterior work complements this vertical drama with profile lines that emphasize the yacht's substantial 7.98-meter beam, allowing the interior architecture room to breathe. Launched in 2017 with accommodation for ten guests, SHORT STORY demonstrates how thoughtful collaboration between exterior and interior designers can elevate a motor yacht beyond mere transportation into floating architecture, where movement through space becomes as considered as the destinations themselves.
