There are no signup fees, monthly fees, or hidden charges. You simply earn 50% of the charter commission when bookings come through the platform.

Yes, FairSeas is designed for currently employed yacht crew members. You'll need to provide proof of employment during verification:

If you're between yachts or doing relief work, you can still join multiple yacht rosters (up to 20 yachts).

You earn 50% of xplor's net charter commission.

Typical crew earnings on 30m+ yachts range from €1,000 to €5,000+ per crew-member, per 1 week charter, depending on yacht size and charter value.

Payments are processed within 30 days of charter completion, once the guest payment clears.

If your commission is below €100, it will accumulate until the threshold is reached. Once you hit €100, the payment is automatically processed on the next payment cycle.

No - commissions are earned individually based on who referred the charter.

If you refer a client who books your yacht, you earn the full 50% crew commission. Other crew members don't automatically share it.

However, many crews choose to:

This is decided by each yacht's crew - FairSeas pays individual crew members directly.

You'll receive an email notification when verification is complete!

If documents are rejected, you'll receive an email explaining why and what's needed:

There are two ways to attach to your yacht:

Yes! You can be attached to up to 20 yachts.

You'll earn commissions for any yacht you refer clients to, regardless of which you're currently working on.

No problem! Simply use "Add Yacht Manually":

1. 1. Click "Add Yacht Manually" from the Dashboard
2. 2. Fill in yacht specifications (LOA, builder, year, etc.)
3. 3. Upload photos if available
4. 4. Provide proof of employment
5. 5. Submit for review

We'll verify and add your yacht within 24-48 hours. You'll be notified by email when it's approved!

When someone requests to join your yacht's crew roster:

1. 1. Request submitted - They upload employment proof
2. 2. You get notified - Email alert to authorized managers
3. 3. Review request - Check documents in "Manage Crew"
4. 4. Approve or reject - One click decision

Approved crew can:

• ✅ Earn commissions for referrals
• ✅ Access yacht notice board
• ✅ View charter calendar

Only Authorized Managers, Captains, and Owners can approve join requests.

When you leave a yacht:

• 1. Update your employment status in your profile
• 2. Commission eligibility ends with your employment
• 3. You'll still receive payment for any charters you referred while employed
• 4. The authorized manager can remove you from the roster

Important: Pending commissions are NOT forfeited - you'll still get paid for charters you referred during your employment period.

To request authorization:

1. 1. Click "Request Authorization" on Dashboard or Welcome page
2. 2. Upload additional verification documents:

Yes! Authorization is per-yacht, not account-wide.

Your permissions adjust automatically based on your role on each yacht.

Your CRI (Crew Rating Index) is a score from 50-100 that affects your visibility and earning potential.

How to boost your score:

• ✅ Complete verification (+10)
• ✅ Upload STCW certificates (+5)
• ✅ Add references (+5)
• ✅ Accept FSA (+3)
• ✅ Complete charters (+2 each)
• ✅ Get 5-star reviews (+1 each)
