Hatteras Yachts
North Carolina builder founded in 1959 by Willis Slane, whose first boat, the 41 ft Knit Wits, was an early large fibreglass yacht. Once known for motor yachts up to about 30 m, it now builds sportfishing yachts at New Bern, with a 77 ft model at the top of the range.
