The rules that matter on a day boat
NP Kornati. You may sail anywhere except the four strict-protection zones (around Purara with the Klint and Volić reefs, Mrtenjak, Kolobučar, and Mali and Veli Obručan) — no entry at all. Anchoring and overnighting only in the listed coves (the rules page names 18). Scuba diving only in organised groups with a park licence; spear guns banned; engines must be sound-insulated.
PP Telašćica. 10 kn from the line between Rt Pod Poljica and Rt Gubac into the bay; 5 kn in the busy coves (Mir, Tripuljak, Kruševica, Kučimul, Magrovica, Pod Dugo polje, Pasjak, Jaz). Wardens fine on the spot.
NP Mljet. Entry by boat only with the park's permit, which is the paid ticket; without one you must leave. 5 kn within 150 m of the shore and in harbours. No anchoring in zone II.c (most of the park's sea); anchoring is allowed in Pomena (Lokva bay) and Polače. The Small Lake is for rowing boats only; the Great Lake and Soline channel are closed to visitors' boats. No grey or black water discharge.
PP Lastovsko otočje. In Saplun, Skrivena luka, Škoj od Zaklopatice and Vejo Lago you use buoys, not anchors, one boat per buoy: €20 (up to 10 m), €40 (10.01–20 m), €60 (20.01–30 m) a night. Leave if gusts over 20 m/s are forecast.
NP Brijuni. Navigation in the park's waters is allowed only to enter Veliki Brijun harbour or to anchor in the permitted zone in front of it. No landing elsewhere.
Krka estuary (from 25 April 2026, NN 52/25 art. 66.a): 8 kn; no anchoring in the Sv. Josip channel or the Skradin channel from Rt Oštrica to Skradin; boats may anchor, swim and dive only in the side coves; boats keep to the right-hand side and give way to ships and yachts. Inside the national park, swimming outside marked places, fishing, diving and drones are banned.
TIP — Buy online, keep the receipt The Kornati in-season mark-up is the easiest €45 you will ever save. Keep the ticket on your phone and on paper: wardens check from their own boats.
WARNING — Strict zones are not "slow zones" In the Kornati strict-protection zones you may not enter at all, not even to look. They are marked on the park map.
